After the release of Diablo 3 last week, I caved in and got myself a copy of it since most of my gaming friends were playing it. After a day or two of playing, I was reminded that games today just aren’t what they used to be for me.
So this is why I’m going back to some more old school gaming in the form of PnP TP RPG’s (Pen and Paper, Table Top, Role Playing Games for the acronym impaired). I love the social aspect of gaming, and more than that, I love creating my own stories with other people. I’m currently working on a campaign that I’ll be DMing (Dungeon Mastering) for some friends, we’ll be playing from all over the world, so we’ll be using Skype and a nifty little program called Map Tools. Bonus side to this, we’ll be streaming these gaming sessions live through our Twitch.TV channel.
We’re hoping to start streaming next month once I’ve gotten most of the campaign written out, so be sure to stick around and watch us have some good old gaming fun.
Oh, and a D20 is a 20 sided die (Plural: Dice). Much like a 6 sided die, only with 20 sides. Duh.
