So I thought it was about time I wrote something a little more serious for the website and do a proper introduction of sorts. Beyond that of the comics and show themselves, in an attempt to give you readers/viewers an insight into the workings, thoughts and ideas we have for this website.
Now if you’re wondering who I am, and haven’t taken the time to check out the About page or couldn’t be bothered listening to us ramble on for over an our in the first show, I’m the guy who tries to keep this site running as smoothly as possible (not always an easy task). I also try and write comics.
When we launched this site just over a week ago on Tue, May 10, 2011, we had no idea of how well it was going to be received. It’s still a bit of a mystery to myself and Panda on how we managed to stumble into this web comic business. While we have very supportive family and friends who often tell us that with our powers combined we can create Captain Planet… I mean create funny little web comics, we still often doubt ourselves on whether we are doing the right thing for ourselves.
We think about our future, the family we are, and will someday be (yes, we often talk about the little Pandaboo cubs we someday wish to have) and wonder if this site/idea we have will be enough to keep us going. We have dreams just like everyone, we talk about how it would be nice to one day go to a comic-con or similar event and have our own booth, selling T-shirts, Plushies, prints/books of the comic and so on, meeting fans, talking with other comic artists and all those good networking opportunities. Among other wild dreams about our possible success with our creativity.
Hmm, must sound like I’m rambling about random thoughts that pop into my head. So what is the point of this blog you ask? I have no idea. I’m thinking this will be the place to keep you all updated on what we’re working on, other projects we are considering, and maybe just at times random thoughts about gaming, movies and all that good stuff, as the Panda likes to say.
For today I’ll let you know that we have a lot more comics written and that the Panda is drawing them at a furious pace. While we often have them ready a week or so in advance, we’re not quite ready to put them up more than once a week. With me waiting on my Visa to move to the Panda’s country, buying a house over there, and all the other expenses we’re going to run into, and with the Panda’s other job, we feel it best to keep ourselves covered to have regular content for our readers. We also have more P&B shows planned, and we hope you give them a listen and let us know your feedback on them so we can constantly improve our style and hopefully create something unique for you all to enjoy.
I want to thank every single one of you for supporting us in this new chapter in our lives, and the dream we have. It means more to us than you can imagine, and we would not be able to do this without any of you. For that, you’ll always have our love, support and respect.
