You’re probably already asking, “What is the Evil Twin Boo Project?”

It’s an ongoing project that I’ve had for many years, a musical project. One that which I get together with many other musicians of various musical tastes and backgrounds to create all kinds of music.

Now you could be asking, “That’s cool and all, but what does it have to do with this site?”

Simple answer is, I’ll be hosting what work the Evil Twin Boo Project does right here on the site to show another side of myself that people may not have known about.

For a long time I’ve been involved in various bands playing guitars, drums, backing and lead vocals among other roles. While I enjoyed my time with these bands, playing gigs, getting ludicrously drunk while on stage, recording demo’s etc. I always felt what I was doing wasn’t reaching enough people, or, reaching those who would enjoy it.

Pushing myself into the 21st century and realising there’s more than one way to skin a cat, er, get my music out there, I’ve decided that as a part of The Panda and The Boo, I’ll be able to host my music for our readers to listen to, enjoy, hate, comment on and so forth. Sometime very soon I’ll be going back into the studio with and old friend of mine who happens to be one of the best bass players I’ve ever had the privilege of hearing and working with. We are both very excited about getting back into the studio and recording some new songs to show the different styles and tastes we have, and at the same time, get a chance to get it out to a wider audience.

If you’re wondering what to expect from this project, how long it’s going to run for, what kinds of music you’ll be hearing among other things, it will be an ongoing project for as long as I can manage. I wish to work with so many different muscians and create music with as many people as possible. Why? No idea, it’s just always been something that has been very close to my heart for as long as I can remember.

The music will range from ballads, to electronica, to metal, to rock, to funk and just about anything that requires me either playing an instrument, or attempting to sing. That’s right, I do sing even though I hate my voice to the 7th layer of hell and back.

I someday hope to have enough music to release it as an album, whether it be digital or even a physical copy, it would be nice to see people appreciating my varied creativeness. (Varied creativeness? Does that make sense?) Along with having the songs available as a download, the Project will also be hosted on The P&B Show as special episodes. It would mainly just be footage of people working on the Project in the studio, but I’ve found people often enjoy seeing what goes into writing and recording a song.

I’ll keep everyone updated with the Project as it goes along, for now though you probably won’t get to see much on it until we can organise some time in the studio, but once we do, you’ll be the first to know.
