So Boo’s been slowly coaxing me into adding a blog entry as well, as he and Jack did. I’m not much of a writer obviously and this post will most likely be shorter than the guys’ entries. I wish to warn you that this post may seem extremely chaotic and disorganized. Reader discretion is advised.
So first of all, who the heck am I?
I’m a very short but very weird lil’ woman. I have the build of a chihuahua combined with the anger issues of a neglected pitbull. I produce very weird little noises when I’m happy (Boo can testify to that), I love baking sweets (I make a mean chocolate chip oatmeal cookie) and watching movies, and I love Australia (for very, eye-poking obvious reasons).
I like drawing, obviously, gaming, and my lovely husband has slowly been introducing me to the awesomeness of heavy metal. I can’t quite listen to the hardcore stuff yet as my tiny eardrums might end up bleeding, but I’m liking Slipknot pretty much so far, and listen to one album of theirs a lot in particular.
I work in the 2D/3D animation industry. I’m hoping to get my butt into the gaming industry one day. I studied five years in college and barely survived it, emerging with two degrees.
I’m currently working on comics a lot, trying to push myself into making one or two a day, so that we can have a bit of a breather with the weekly schedule. As you can guess, we already have the comics for the next few weeks done and ready, but you guys will get to see those in due time!
If you’ve read the About/Help/FAQ pages, you already know how Boo and I came to be. We’ve been happily married for a little more than a year now, and I couldn’t be happier. Let’s just say I found my husband at the right place and the right time, I had urgent issues that he helped me with, and must admit I still have them somewhat, but we’re working through it. Not that I’m the only one with issues, I also like to think I help him in my own way.
I’m currently preparing for a third trip to Australia, and not having been in my husband’s physical presence for a little more than six months, you can guess how urgent and pressing this trip is becoming. Fear not, once I’m all clear here and I can fly out, I’ll still be able to do comics from there. I’ve got a nifty little tablet that I can hook up to my laptop, so that I can still work and draw.
So that’s about everything for now, I can’t think of anything else to write… If you’ve got comments or questions, feel free to comment on this post, or send me an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org, my inbox is lonely.
