I hate forms. We both hate forms. The amount of forms we’ve had to fill out for my visa to Canada borders on the insane side of things. Not only the amount, but also the questions that seem to be written by a thesaurus.
It doesn’t stop there, while tying things up here in Australia, like closing bank accounts, phones etc, the words and questions these forms use is beyond stupid (ironically). Why can’t they be simple? Do form writing people like to show off how many polysyllabic words they can find in a dictionary to completely confuse us when they could simply have the questions straight forward and easy to understand?
It’s much like if you ask a politician if they would like a coffee, their response is usually “Well, depending on the outcome after digesting said coffee, it could very well be a yes or no answer. However it also depends on whether or not the intended gesture is…”
A simple yes or no will suffice butt monkey.
