Marie and I have often talked about Boo’s history, about what he actually is, where he came from and whether or not he’s actually a ghost. Is today’s comic Boo’s actual past? We’re not sure. I just thought it would be funny for Boo to find out that his past may not be what he actually thinks it is.
One of Marie’s theories on Boo is that he actually escaped from an old Pacman arcade game. I kind of like that idea, but for now I’m content with making his past as confusing and incoherent as possible.
So the question for today, do you prefer characters with complex backgrounds? Or are you one who prefers a little mystery to your favorite characters?
