Growing up in a card playing family, there was a game we all learnt at a very young age. Snap. It was a simple game where a standard deck of cards is divided between all the players. Each player then places one card in the centre of everyone, and play passes to the next person. When 2 of the same cards (say two Kings for example) show on the deck in the centre, you slap your hand on the cards and yell Snap. Whoever did this first won those cards, and the person with all the cards at the end was the winner.
It’s a very simple game, but it can also quickly become a blood thirsty one. There has been many a blood filled match when certain people forget to take off their diamond wedding rings… Nothing like 4 hands speeding towards a deck of cards only to come back looking like they had just been in a blender.
